Measure the opening inside your window casing.  This is the area shutters normally fill when closed and they look best when sized correctly, even if for decorative use.  Order all shutters the actual height needed.   Decorative shutters can be ordered on the closest whole inch width (dropping fractions).  If you wish to actually close your shutters we will trim to the exact width required.  Mount your shutters to the face of the window casing with functional hinges and holdbacks for the most authentic appearance.  Choose your shutter type from the following list of authentic traditional exterior shutter types:

MLE & MLHD - Moveable Louver Exterior & Moveable Louver Heavy Duty
FLS & FLHD - Fixed Louver Standard Duty & Fixed Louver Heavy Duty
RPS REG & RPHD REG - Raised Panel Standard Duty & Raised Panel Heavy Duty
